Broadband Survey
PLEASE FILL OUT, WE'LL ALSO HAVE PAPER COPIES AT THE CIRCULATION DESK
We are asking you to do the survey because your library is located in the "Northwest Ohio Region" for BBOH's digital equity work.
What does that mean? BBOH is the State of Ohio's "holding agency" for all broadband dollars coming down from the federal government due to the signing of the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act, which had billions of dollars for broadband expansion/development across the U.S. Ohio is slated to receive hundreds of millions, if not a billion, dollars for broadband and tech investments.
Right now, the state is working with five regions (TLCPL being one of them) to collect community survey data and host in-person listening sessions on how folks are using technology/the internet and where connectivity is lacking. These replies and verbal feedback will influence how the state invests this once-in-a-lifetime allocation.
